In his lecture, Dr. Martin Auerbach talks about how the Holocaust related traumata leave their mark on subsequent generations, including issues of refusal and denial. He also explores the challenges of recognizing the trauma of the other in the context of Israel-Palestine conflict.


The event was originally planned as part of the series of event for the spring of 2026: In the Shadow of War - the Way Forward, which is a collaboration between The Norwegian Center for Holocaust and Minority Studies and the University of Oslo. The event was postponed in the spring of 2026 due to the war in the Middle East.


Free admission, but registration is required.
