Adan, a young Somali immigrant in Minneapolis, has nowhere to go, and finds shelter in the local mosque. One day, his car hits a stray dog, and he is forced to look after it over night. That marks the start of a journey that will test both his faith and his determination. Musa Syeed’s second full length film, about two underdogs, earned critical acclaim and awards when it was released last year.
