Susanne has personnel, budget, and result responsibilities for The House of Literature. She has a background from the media industry, has published five books, and serves on various boards.
Tone Jørpeland Lunde

As the Head of Administration, Tone is engaged in most of the operation of The House of Literature. Her responsibilities include accounting and financing/applications (public/private). Tone holds a master’s degree in 18th century Nordic literature. She has many years of experience from various cultural institutions in Norway.
Velaug Bergum

Velaug is responsible for recruitment, contracts, personnel follow-up and other administrative tasks. She has worked at The House of Literature in various roles since 2016, including booking manager, and can answer most questions. She has a media professional background, but has primarily worked within administration and communication.
Kjersti Ruud-Salomonsen

Kjersti is responsible for coordinating rental events, various administrative tasks, The Writers' Loft, and general inquiries. She holds a masters's degree in English literature and has several years of experience as a writer and reviewer of children's and youth books. Kjersti has a background as a museum guide and has previously worked as an event host at The House of Literature.

Philip is in charge of the rental operations. All external events go through Philip, and he can answer any questions related to renting a venue and hosting an event at The House of Literature. Philip holds a bachelor's degree in Intellectual history and has many years of experience as an event host at the house.
Pål Bredrup

Pål is responsible for ensuring that the technical aspects of your event go as planned. You can ask him about streaming and video production, musical performances, or even straightforward panel discussions and lectures. Pål will guide you through the process from A to Z. Pål has a long career as a musician and sound engineer.
Håkon Pettersen

Håkon has the overall responsibility for technical installations and equipment at the house, and oversees the general operation and maintenance of The House of Literature's infrastructure. He has studied literature, intellectual history, and sociology at the University of Oslo. For the past 20 years, he has been involved in building up the bar concept Dattera til Hagen at Grønland.
Aslaug Gaundal
Marketing and Communications Manager

Aslaug is responsible for The House of Literature's digital communication: social media, newsletters, websites, advertisements, and more. She holds a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in Nordic literature from UiO, and has experience with marketing for publishers, working in bookstores, and serving as a museum guide.

Linn is Artistic Director of The House of Literature's program for adults. She has a background as an author and extensive experience with literature outreach. She holds a degree in literature studies and has previous experience in publishing, the Norwegian Literature Festival, magazines, and bookstores.
Åshild Lappegård Lahn

Åshild works with the program for adults and is the project manager for The House of Literature's focus on African literature. Åshild is a literature scholar and translator with a background that includes experiences at the norwegian newspaper Klassekampen and Manifest Magazine.
Madeleine Metz

Madeleine works with the program for adults, and is the project manager for the focus on queer literature and Sami/Kven literature initiatives. Madeleine holds a master's degree in General Literary Studies with a minor in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies, and has a background that includes experiences at the Fett Magazine.

Hilde Hagerup

Hilde coordinates school visits and welcomes classes that come to The House of Literature. She has a background as an author and has broad experience with literature outreach to a young audience. When she's not at the house, she writes and presents her own work.

Taran works with the children and youth program at The House of Literature. She has extensive experience in education, both as a teacher and a leader.
Jasdeep Singh Kalirai

Jasdeep is responsible for the children's room at The House of Literature. He shares stories with the little ones, both in person and digitally, and collaborates with multilingual storytellers to reach children from diverse cultural backgrounds. Jasdeep has a teaching background and has previously been a program host on NRK Super. He also has over 10 years of experience working with children and youth with autism.
Hanne Kjærland Olsen
