ARENA Centre for European Studies, in cooperation with the European External Action Service (EEAS), the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence, is pleased to host a symposium on the European Union-Norway Security and Defence Partnership. The event is hosted in connection with the EU-Norway Security and Defence Dialogue.

The event brings together representatives from Norwegian authorities, EU institutions and leading researchers to discuss the evolving security landscape in Europe, with particular attention to European defence cooperation and the Arctic dimension. Against the backdrop of growing geopolitical uncertainty and the threat posed by Russia, the symposium will explore how Norway and the EU can deepen cooperation on security and defence to address threats and challenges to European security.
