The Afghan Women Justice Movement (AWJM), in collaboration with the Dialogue Hub for Common Ground, is pleased to host an international conference commemorating International Women’s Day and highlighting the ongoing and systematic deprivation of rights faced by Afghan women.
The conference aims to move beyond awareness-raising and toward accountability, responsibility, and concrete action in response to gender apartheid, with particular focus on the legal, political, and moral obligations of the international community.
The event will bring together human rights defenders, civil society representatives, policymakers, and advocates to examine current challenges and explore practical pathways toward justice and meaningful action.
Conference Panels:
Panel I:
From Awareness to Accountability: Ending Gender Apartheid
Panel II:
No Justice, No Dialogue: Ending Gender Apartheid
This conference serves as a platform for critical dialogue, solidarity, and collective engagement in support of Afghan women’s rights.
