From 2022 through 2025, The House of Literature is undertaking a major initiative on African literature, history, and societal discourse, with the assistance of an artistic council comprising authors and resource persons from the African continent and the diaspora. The goal is to highlight more voices from the African continent and provide both children and adults in Norway with a more nuanced understanding of Africa and significant global issues.

The project is supported by NORAD.
